Blogcamp CEE 2008 is a three-day conference, taking place in Kyiv, Ukraine on October 17-19. It is going to gather about 500 new media specialists, bloggers, entrepreneurs and investors from Central and Eastern Europe. Blogcamp is organized in an ad-hoc Barcamp format, enabling every participant to deliver a presentation.

The main themes of Blogcamp are Web 2.0 and social media. It means everything concerning blogs, social networks, podcasting, internet video, citizen journalism etc., as well as internet start-ups and venture investments.

A program of 60 speeches, workshops and round tables covered various topics like Web 2.0, blogs and social networks development, citizen journalism, mobile technologies, innovations and social trends. Blogcamp ‘07 generated more than 1000 posts in blogs and photo-video sharing services and more than 80 articles in off-line and on-line media.
