Blogcamp Central and Eastern Europe 2008 is a yearly international "barcamp style" conference on new media – blogs, social networks, web 2.0, podcasting, online video, citizen journalism, etc., as well as on start-ups and venture investments. Blogcamp will take place on October 17-19th in Kyiv, Ukraine. The event is free and is organized by its participants – everyone makes his/her own input for Blogcamp to be successful and to make sure that as many people as possible find out about it. In 2008 Blogcamp will also host Investor Day with a start-up contest and Best Ukrainian Blog Awards contest.
