MUSCLE SHOALS – According to Forbes, Listerhill Credit Union was once again named the best credit union in Alabama.
That’s according to an in-depth study by Forbes for its 2021 ranking of the best American credit unions.
Forbes rated banks and credit unions based on overall recommendations and satisfaction. Five sub-dimensions were also included: trust, terms and conditions, branch services, digital services and financial advice. More than 25,000 clients were surveyed by market research firm Statista for their opinions on current and past banking relationships. Of the 5,068 credit unions nationwide, only 3.6% made the Forbes list.
“We are once again honored to receive this honor as a leader among credit unions,” said Brad Green, President and CEO of Listerhill. “From our board of directors to our employees, Listerhill remains committed to providing the best service, convenience and value to our members. “
“This ranking is a direct result of the hard work the Listerhill team has put into innovation and renovation,” said Chris Anderson, vice president of marketing. “With the continued deployment of our 24/7 smart ATMs, a cutting-edge mobile app, lightning-fast online apps, and modernized retail branches, Listerhill has built an experience that the community can not find anywhere else. We are proud of it.
Green added, “Our goal has always been to add convenience where our members want it most. Whether a member prefers to bank from home, vehicle or at a branch, we are continually improving those experiences to be best in class.
This is the fourth year that Forbes has ranked banks and credit unions across the country. Listerhill has ranked every year and has reached number one in Alabama for the past two years.
