Man uses stolen credit cards in Melville: police

MELVILLE, NY – Suffolk County Crime Stoppers is asking for the public’s help in locating the man who police believe used stolen credit cards.

A wallet containing credit cards was stolen from Au Bon Pain in Melville around 12.30pm on April 7, police said. The cards were then used by a man to purchase an Apple Watch from Wireless Shack at 1167 Deer Park Ave., North Babylon.

Police are asking anyone with information to contact Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and leave an anonymous tip by phone at 1-800-220-TIPS, using a mobile app that can be downloaded through the App Store or Google Play by searching for P3 Tips, or online at www.P3Tips.com. A cash reward is offered for information leading to an arrest.
