COUNTY OF THE KING – We all know how hard firefighters work in the community. It’s just one more reason the King County Sheriff’s Office wants to catch someone who broke into a fire engine’s truck and then went shopping.
Sheriff officials attempt to identify the man pictured below.
During the night of June 3-4, he is believed to have stolen a firefighter’s uniform, badge and even a family bible from the victim’s truck, which was parked in the Renton Highlands area.
MPs say he also got his hands on a wallet and credit cards, then went to Target at the Factoria Mall in Bellevue and racked up more than $ 500 in fees.
He even had the nerve to try and make another purchase over $ 400, but luckily that charge was denied.
“These vehicle raids are a plague on our community. No one is indifferent to them,” said the sergeant. Tim Meyer of the King County Sheriff’s Office said. “We leave things in our car thinking they’re safe.”
The suspect is believed to be in his twenties, with a slender figure and unique tennis shoes that appear to have an orange or red toe.
If you can identify him or have information leading to his arrest, you may be eligible for a cash reward of up to $ 1,000 from Puget Sound Crime Stoppers. You can submit an anonymous tip by calling 1-800-222-TIPS or by downloading the P3 Tips app on your smartphone.
