Ahmad Al Matrooshi of Emaar Development said that in a rapidly growing digital world, clients would benefit from the plethora of benefits and amenities that come with having the high-value real estate agent part of the global network of merchants of Visa.

Emaar Development has delivered over 47,000 residential units since 2002. The company has an order book of over 24.605 billion dirhams with 26,000 residential units under development.

The overall real estate sales of Emaar Properties in 2020 amounted to 10.9 billion dirhams, of which 6.3 billion dirhams were recorded in the UAE.

In August 2020, Abu Dhabi-based developer Aldar Properties enabled clients to pay rents by credit card to provide convenient and flexible payment solutions.

“Buying a new home is always an exciting experience and as partners we are delighted to make this process even easier through this partnership with Emaar. It aims to expand the acceptance of digital payments for the purchase of Emaar properties and enable residents of the United Arab Emirates to complete large real estate transactions on their Visa debit and credit cards, ”said Andrew Torre, president Regional Visa for Central and Eastern Europe, Middle East and Africa.

Torre said cardholders can also make card payments for reservations, down payments or installments for their new homes at no additional cost.
