Payment campaign with a goal of Logix Federal Credit Union

Logix Federal Credit Union’s Paying with a Purpose campaign raised $ 20,000 to benefit five local nonprofits that champion the bond between people and their pets.
From May 1 to May 15, each time a member used their Logix Mastercard credit or debit card, the credit union donated two cents to support one of five local nonprofits: Carousel Ranch in Santa Clarita, Lifesavers Wild Horse Rescue in Antelope Valley, PawWorks Veterinary Hospital and Apollo’s ARC in Conejo Valley, and Wildlife Care of Southern California in Simi Valley.
Carousel Ranch CEO Denise Redmond expressed her gratitude for the credit union’s support.
“We are very grateful to Logix for including us in Paying with a Purpose,” said Redmond. “The dedication and support of the Credit Union helps us provide therapies and services to our clients. This is especially important after a year when so many children and young adults we serve have been cut off from the world around them. We were able to welcome our customers again, allowing everyone to focus on their needs and goals. For many, Carousel Ranch is a home away from home. This donation will help us as we continue to provide them with these invaluable services.
Carousel Ranch has served families in and around the Santa Clarita Valley for almost 25 years. Families can apply for financial assistance to help pay for the services and cost of each session, which includes facility maintenance, instructor, horse care, and staff time. Funds from Paying with a Purpose will go to these scholarships.
While Logix members contributed to Paying with a Purpose, credit union employees continued to support community partnerships by donating to the Logix Community Stars Foundation. The nonprofit, run by employee volunteers from Logix, presented a check for $ 25,000 to Circle of Hope on May 17th.
These dollars include Logix Matching Dollars and employee contributions through payroll deductions.
Circle of Hope, based in Santa Clarita, provides support to people with cancer and their families. Logix is the main supporter of the non-profit organization and will be the main sponsor of 2021 Vine2Wine on August 21 at the Porsche Santa Clarita Wünderground Museum.
Logix Community Stars is a non-profit, charitable foundation operated by employee volunteers of the Logix Federal Credit Union. The credit union is not affiliated with the Burbank Temporary Aid Center, Circle of Hope, For The Troops, Penny Lane Centers, or other charities supported by Logix Community Stars.
