Traffic stop leads to discovery of credit card skimming and drug possession records

JENNINGS La. – On Sunday evening, August 8, 2021 at midnight, MPs stopped a Chevrolet Malibu on Westbound Interstate 10, MP 57, for throwing things out a window and throwing trash. During the shutdown, MPs noticed the occupants were nervous and appeared to be under the influence.

A k-9 alert leads to a search of the vehicle. Marijuana and heroin were in the vehicle. MPs also discovered evidence of illegal records of credit card skimming, blank cards and a metal embossing machine used to make fraudulent credit cards.

David Adam Williams, 37, of Hitchcock, Texas, was arrested and booked for possession of Schedule I, possession of Schedule II and pending warrant in Ft. Bend County, Texas.

Megan Rachelle Holley, 35, of Onalaska, TX was convicted of possession of Schedule II, possession of Schedule I, possession of drug paraphernalia and litter.

A third passenger, Alan Thomas Barnes II, 41, of Houston, TX, was released on citation due to time in jail for possession of Schedule I, possession of Schedule II and possession of the Schedule I (heroine).
